30.04.–26.06.2010 The Sea, the Shore and Saaremaa in Enn Kunila’s Collection

The exhibition The Sea, the Shore and Saaremaa in Enn Kunila’s Collection was held at the Raegalerii [Town Hall Gallery] in Kuressaare on 30 April – 26 June 2010.

Ants Laikmaa, Konrad Mägi, Andrei Jegorov, Roman Nyman, Nikolai Triik, Johannes Võerahansu, Richard Uutmaa, Eerik Haamer, Richard Sagrits, Evald Okas and Olev Subbi are authors of classical Estonian painting who were represented at this exhibition, a total of 21 works.

Classics of Estonian art are closely intertwined with Saaremaa. Masters such as Konrad Mägi, Johannes Võerahansu, Elmar Kits, Evald Okas, Valdemar Väli, Peeter Mudist and others have left an important mark on Saaremaa as one of the favourite places of Estonian artists. The painter Eerik Haamer is from Saaremaa.

The painter Olev Subbi designed the exhibition.
