The exhibition “Colours of the Golden Age” was very popular

The Exhibition „Colours of the Golden Age. Classical Estonian Painting from Enn Kunila’s Collection” that was open from 20th March until 7th September 2014 in Mikkel Museum in Kadriorg was very popular – it was visited by nearly 15 000 people.

Positive feedback of the visitors, including children and schoolgroups, is reflected in the guestbook.

Intensive and innovative groundwork by curator Eero Epner is the main reason of the success of the exhibition. Series of articles related to the paintings that were exhibited were published in newspapers. Also, major attention was drawn to the interactive program that introduces the exhibition.

Designer Tõnis Saadoja has received a warm welcome for his new ways of exhibiting classical painting.

Enn Kunila: As an art collector I acknowledge the excellent work of The Art Museum of Estonia, especially for the work with children.

I thank all supportes and everyone who helped the exhibition to succeed!
