„Visions from the North / Visioni dal Nord“ is an exhibition of Estonian painting in Museo Novecento in Florence and illustrates the birth of modern art in Estonia.
Estonian artists dreamed of southern lands. In addition to the snowy landscapes and little cityscapes of Andrei Jegorov, August Jansen or Ants Murakin, the Mediterranean landscapes of Konrad Mägi, Estonia’s most important artist of the 20th century, are at this exhibition.
